within the past couple of months the local utility, FPL, had demolished two fossil-fuel generation facilities. One of them right down the street from me last Saturday (Cutler). Pretty fantastic demolition displays using large quantities of explosives. I guess nat-gas is the cheap way to go, and should be plentiful for the next 50 years or so.
