You are right Ganassi always seems to stay a step or two behind the top teams in Cup. Corey "Supershoe"(his nickname) doesn't have a full time ride right now so that is part of the deal. He has a developmental deal in ARCA with Richard Petty Motorsports, but they have only started him two times. They did get two wins out of the deal so they probably should be running him more. By contrast Larson has a full time deal. Elliott also doesn't have a full time ride but he is signed with Hendrick and they have a good marketing and PR department; they work hard at keeping their drivers in the news. Elliott's win in Trucks today is also going to get him some air time. All in all it's mostly just the media, for some reason they latch on to some and not others.
