Living in Michigan there's 3 games you look forward to every year, Michigan/Ohio State, Michigan/Michigan State and Michigan/Notre Dame. All 3 are some of the best historic rivals in college football. Last year Notre Dame notified Michigan that after the contract ran out between the two schools, and they played the 2013 game Notre Dame was not interested in renewing the contract. Now when it comes to the Michigan/Notre Dame game I remember back in the 1960s & 1970s when I was a litle kid my dad and all of my mom's brothers coming over drinking beer and smoking cigars watching this game. I'm pretty sure it was my job to hold the rabbit ears antenna to make the game came in. Notre Dame is claiming that even though they're not in the ACC they have an agreement with the ACC to play at least 5 ACC conference games a year, so they had to drop a Big Ten school. I don't remember what sports show I was watching today, but the host accused Notre Dame of intentionally watering down their schedule by not dropping Michigan State or Purdue, but choosing Michigan to drop, and they wonder why they got no respect last year.
