for Chevrolet at all. With just a few laps left if Bowyer doesn't spin Newman and Gordon make the Chase. After Bowyer spins and everything gets shuffled during the pit stops Newman and Gordon get knocked out which allows Bowyer's teammate to make the Chase along with Logano.
If I was Newman I would of acted like my radio was broke and stayed out. With where Truex finished Newman had to win the race or finish 2nd to make the Chase. He entered the pits leading and came out 6th. With only having to do a green/white/checker I would of stayed out and made my car very wide for the last 2 laps.
