I'm a bit disappointed by the way things went down...

Several things happened during the race that had me feeling like NASCAR had their hand in manufacturing some excitement that wasn't naturally there. First, I am about sick and tired of all the phantom debris cautions they keep having. It's such a WWE type of move. Also, the caution for Bowyer's spin might have been avoided. He didn't hit anything, didn't spin fully and got the car going right away. Less than 10 to go...stay green. Another one was Johnson's tire blowing. They waited quite a while after he made contact with the wall to throw the caution as leaders were making pit stops. As mentioned in the Bowyer spin, they can act quickly to throw the caution when they need to. Not sure what they were waiting for on that one. Blown tire, wall contact = definite debris...the real kind, not the phantom kind. To be honest, I was surprised they didn't throw a yellow for the water bottles that McMurray hit on a restart and speaking of restarts, Carl seemed to get a huge jump on that last one. Hmmm... It just seems like NASCAR is going out of it's way to manufacture excitement in these races the past couple of years and I'm kind of getting sick of it. I understand it's to boost ratings and create excitement in the sport but it just seems to cheapen the whole sport for me.
