They run it each year the night before the Indy 500. 11 rows of 3 sprint cars on a 1/4 mile high banked oval is really something to see. Almost as good as the Indy Midget 500 which is no longer. 500 laps on the 1/5 mile, flat Indianapolis Speedrome. They set up pits in the infield for tires and refueling until the insurance company made them quit. It was always interesting to see the helmets literally hanging out the right side of the car because the guys could not hold their heads up anymore. Glad Anderson Speedway obviously has a different insurance company.
