I live about a hour northeast of Detroit sort up into the thumb region, and it's pretty nice where I live. I hear those stories from people that live in the suburbs closer to Detroit. Where do you live, Bridgeport? Just messing with you. They've really cracked down on cell phones. They'll literally escort you out if caught on a cell phone. People got the idea in their head it was ok to text because it was silent. Nope, they'll escort you out for texting now. Checking e-mails on smart phone. Nope, you'll get escorted out for that, too. I think it's cost saving issue, but most theatres no longer serve popcorn in a bucket. It now comes in a paperbag, and it seems like I'm always sitting by the old timer that makes a small popcorn last the whole movie, and it sounds like you're sitting next to someone crinkling and crumpling a newspaper the whole movie. The wife and I have actually gotten up and moved for that reason, and there's no excuse for it because it is possible to enjoy your popcorn without making all that noise crinkling the paperbag. My neighbor owns the Mayberry RFD theater where I live, and still uses the buckets for that reason, but withing 15 to 20 minutes of us we have three of the large 30 cinema theatres.
Another 45 minutes and the F1 pre-race show starts.
