Given the symbiotic relationship between owners and drivers I actually side with Kevin on this one; although it would have been much better for everyone involved if it would have stayed behind closed doors. I think Kevin has done as much for the RCR organization as Richard has done for him. I really like Childress he always takes time to say something to me at the track when we cross paths, but I think the way the organization has treated it's main bread winner was below the standards an organization like RCR should strive for. Incidentally Jeff Burton's silence about his termination speaks volumes about what is going on at RCR. Jeff is a victim of this nepotism as well. I feel that the worst move Ryan Newman could have made was coming to RCR at this juncture; he will be back seat to the grandchildren. As long as he is fine with that he will have a home for a while, but I would not expect to see him in the top RCR car. Knowing Ryan I don't think he will stay long once he sees how things are.
