is in the books. Got to take in a bit of F1 action in Austin before getting on a flight to Miami Sunday. Got off the plane, sunny and 80; always a fun time in South Beach. Got to see a bunch of folks who I have missed all year. Talked with Sam Hornish for a while, got to love that guy's attitude. He is possible the most upbeat person in the garage. It was good to see Norm Benning in attendance, and maybe a bit of sponsorship coming his way next year. Johanna Long was hanging by the pool and has a deal to run in the Snowball derby in a couple of weeks. Still waiting to see if she will be back in the 70 next year. Johnny Sauter gets props for best interview during the awards. Darrell Wallace Jr. is a real nice kid and he gets props for setting the fashion tone by wearing a tuxedo and red vans kicks. Ryan Blaney is as classy as his dad, and Jeb Burton sure says yes sir a lot. Can't wait for 2014, take care.
