it took me about 5 minutes of searching to come up with the answer, 'who was that band'?....just got home from erands, saw this outfit "Madison Rising" do the anthem, had heard of them before, but TV yanked away so fast, could not hear the crowds reaction..........
....now, nobody likes crunchy rock&roll guitars more than me, but much like that thing that was on this board several years back (a wedding where the wedding party was doing "wasted-dancing" down the aisle) I always kinda thought there were certain things that commanded a certain level of decorum..........I remember when Steven Tyler did the Anthem at Indy, he only got all "Steven" at the very end ("and the land, of the FREEEE...ku-ku-KU-KU-KAACCHHOOOOWWW! and the home of the INDY 500, BBAAAAAABBBYYYYY!!!") they booed him mercilessly, I'd be curious to have heard the crowds reaction....
