The current ridiculous cost to join the NA$CAR elite good ol' boys club, and the virtual uncertainty that you won't make money unless you have all you can stand to begin with. The joke about how to make a million dollars as an NFL/NBA/MLB owner: buy a team, and have $10 million in the bank when you do.
Only the top teams can win any significant prizes or get sponsorship bigbucks.
