I didn't hear anything during Sunday's pre-race though I could have missed it. On Saturday, during the Xfinity pre-race, Shannon Spake briefly noted something along the lines of our thoughts and prayers go out to John Andretti as he faces this battle with cancer. Then I immediately got online to find out the news.

Apparently, WTHR's Dave Colabro is going to have a special report on the local Indy news station at 5, 6 & 11 tonight from his recent visit with John & Nancy at their home and the hospital where John was receiving chemo.

Once Shannon made that announcement on Saturday, I started seeing a lot of Twitter posts from NASCAR & IndyCar drivers like Dale Jr and Helio, and now it's in USA Today and other media outlets.
