Hey Night....I can only go on what they tell me but he said if I wanted for 50 it probably would have been to late. The polyp was huge for a guy my age. Get this...I bought a Honda with horrid seats in it which I said were giving me these wicked side pains. My Dr says...."naaaa....cant be that...lets get you in for the scoping". If I never bought that car....I doubt I'd have gone at 50! My dad had some big ones too. My dr wants them to start covering them at 45 as my buddy waited till he was 50 and had stage 4. He got bombed with chemo and radiation plus part of the colon cut out. His 5 year survival is 50/50. I'd say this....if your family has history of it go sooner than later. I'd call your healthcare and tell them a family member has it and you want to go now.
