As far I know all Jimmy had to do was finish where he was and he was on to the next round. Or as you said in 8th or better. But...Jimmy hasnt won in a while and I think felt they probably wouldnt have won the whole deal so grab that win.

And....him and crew chief ChadK parted company...made me wonder....was that move the final straw?
