I took my son to his very first race a few weeks ago when we drove from Connecticut to Dover with my brother and nephew. Since John and my other favorite driver Bill Elliott stopped racing full-time, I really haven't latched on to a new driver. But my son is a Chase Elliott fan. How amazing that at his very first race, he sees his driver win! Well, after that, I was hooked. I was leaning towards him anyway, but that did it.

(Incidentally, my very first race was at Dover as well, way back in 2003 when Bill Elliott was running full-time. Wouldn't you know he finished second? If the race was 401 laps, he would have won.)
