The La Catalina Complex is located on the left, just behind the Kinder School but before the bridge crossing the river. Refreshments and light drinks will be served. The students receive 80% of the proceeds from sales and the LCF and the Dave Sullins Memorial Art Fund each receive 10%. Hope you can come out and support the kids.
This years program, thanks to excellent translation skills by Maria Chavarin, allowed the following artists to present techniques to the scholarship students in the following mediums:
Ron Stock taught the students 3D artmaking. Jody Jenkins taught taught drawing, Rennie Holly taught printmaking, Annie Olson taught watercolors, Katherine McCollough and Martha Meredith assisted.
Iíll try to post a few photos of the young budding artists at work and some of their works of art at various stages of completion. Please come and see the finished artwork tomorrow evening Feb. 25 from 5:30-7PM. I know your will enjoy the experience!
