Not wanting to impose NOB issues, but Dennis's comments are appropriate and accurate. WA state is starting to cull sea lions from the dams on the Columbia River where they are decimating the returning spawning salmon. We have had dead seals washed up on our beach in Anacortes with bullet holes that were shot by fishermen trying to eliminate competition.

So far it seems that it is more an issue in WA, OR, AK, and BC rather than Mexico. Let's hope that it stays that way.
