Well, our ambulance may be off service, but that does not stop the calls from coming in, nor does it stop our team from answering those calls. Just the other day we had three service calls in one day, one a horrible accident involving a motorcycle and a car in an accident on the carratera, one an elderly woman having a bad asthma attack, and another from a person in Los Ingenios experiencing dizziness. Thank you to Francisco for using his old ambulance when it is up and running, and thanks to all of you for your continued support.

So what's happening now with the ambulance? I was able to get the needed part from a dealer in Tacoma, Washington, who sent it to Lyn and Randy Parker/Pearce in Oregon, who drove the part down to La Manz. Many thanks to them, and to Mark Grossbauer, who helped identify the correct part. Now the diesel mechanic is clearing his calendar so that starting tomorrow he will devote all his attention to the ambulance. Yipee!
