Open source is the answer, it works great on computer software, its just a hurdle to overcome blocked by big profits.
As it is now even the Bayh-Dole Act is being attacked in an attempt to eliminate march in rights due to price and other changes.
The TRIPS waiver was first proposed in October 2021, 7 months ago! Its too easy to dwell on the past, lets just hope it doesn't take too long for this to be implemented and that it is not too watered down.
Don't forget Canadians your government is one of the countries opposing the waiver. Anyone write their representative about this?
What would be really great is if main stream media starts covering not only this but many of the atrocities committed by big Pharma and of patent protections in general.
