I found a tick on me a few wks ago. Sorta panicked, as id had a tick bite before and got Lyme Disease, a very serious disease almost impossible to get rid of. Got Very ill. Went through months of treatment. Went to a specialist in Vallarta who treats Lyme Disease. Not cheap. Now its dormant.

So when i found this tick on me here, folk told me to go to la Dra. I did. She put alcohol in it and removed it with tweezers.

However, now weeks later, there is still something there, under the skin. Its either the head or some eggs. Still red, a typical red circle around it and it itches badly. I dont scratch it.

Now i feel i need to go to a Dr who is familiar with ticks and this whole thing.

Ive been told by locals to go to a dr in Melaque, Cihuatlan, Manzanillo. One thing i do know is it needs to be someone familiar with and trained in this. Not just any good dr is. (Ive had many tell me to get someone burn it off with a cigarette! They were serious).

Anyone know who may be the right person to go to? Ill travel if needed. After my serious illness before, i dont want to dink around with this.
