In case anybody's interested, I would like to share the news that I am finally free of Omicron symptoms after having spent nearly 2 weeks feeling that I was, quite possibly, the most exhausted woman in town. I may have broken records for sleeping deeply and dreamless, and the indifference I've harbored to unprecedented accumulations of dust in my home has surprised me. However, there's no denying a number of positive signs this morning re: my state of being. Coffee tastes good again, I've made a list of things to accomplish tomorrow (a Monday), and right now I'm chompin' at the bit to head for a secluded stretch of beach. In closing, let me just add one message to anyone not taking this latest COVID variant seriously: MASK UP and DON'T GET IN OTHERS' PERSONAL SPACE. Nobody wants to be miserable in Paradise.
