If you mean using YYYY MM DD HH MM, with 24 hour time (1300 instead of 1pm), once you get used to it, it really is the superior format.

1. We always write numbers with the largest first then decreasing in value.

2. Lists of dates sort without ambiguity.

3. It eliminates the potential confusion of MM DD (USA) and DD MM (Canada, UK, Mexico). Is 6/9 June 9th or Sept 6th?
