They may use a word other than Karen but I am sure that every culture has their Karen's.

In the posted video, the creator is complaining about the Mexican culture being changed by a concentration of Gringos and uses the word Gringolandia.

We are all raised in an environment that comprises both nature and nurture, behavioral norms, customs, languages etc i.e. we are all running a program.
When we go to another culture we bring that program with us and would have to be consciously aware of that in order to appreciate another culture and change it as little as possible.

Gringos live and hang out together mainly due to language, and unless they are consciously aware the tenancy to make their surroundings familiar to the place they came from follows. Its easier to change the surroundings to be more familiar than it is to adapt to the surroundings as they are.
This is not unique to Gringos in Mexico, it happens to Mexican's or other cultures who move to the US for example. I don't think there is intentional malice or intent to change things it just happens over time.

Wanting to improve the living conditions of the culture you are visiting to be more like where you came from is considered normal, and even admired in certain circumstances, like better healthcare, education etc. In that situation one must be even more attune to cultural differences. In reality even if you did nothing just your presence in the visiting culture changes things.

The creator of the video needs to realize that there are places in Mexico that have become more like the US or Canada than Mexico. If he desires to live in real Mexico he needs to keep looking vs complaining about it.
