The back hatch on my car won't open (its electric) so I take it to the auto electrico in Melaqe. They take it apart and say that the problem is the actuator and that they have the means to fix the problem.
I ask how long it will take, they say about an hour.
I sit there and about 1 1/2 hours later go to the back of the car where they are working (wondering why it takes so long to change a part) and see that they are using brackets and braces to make a part from another car work in my car.
They finally put it all together and it doesn't work, its the same as before. They say "well Mexicana is not going to work, you have to order the part". I say ok, how much do I owe you? Nothing they reply. I say ok, when I get the part I will return and I will pay you then.
I go back to the office and try to order the actuator from Amazon. They don't have it so I Duck it and bump into a couple of post mentioning my problem specifically. They are saying that the actual problem is not the actuator but the glass hatch switch sending an error message, and that if I disconnect the glass hatch switch that all be well.
I can't seem to find the actuator anywhere online to order.
So do I go back to Melaque tomorrow and ask them to put things back like they were and try disconnecting the glass hatch switch as recommended or .........?
Just a day in the life, no complaints here.
