I love it here and was hoping to live here the rest of my life. But I have to leave to return to Chapala where I can navigate a surgery in GDL in closer proximity. The reason I wont be back to live here for the rest of my life is having experienced the earthquake shake. My container house rocked severely like a bad carnival ride. Then the three days of rain we had from Orlene wiped out the roads pretty bad here in the barrio away from the beach. I was going downtown and had to turn back home. Like someone else said,it is fixed up in a day or so overall. I think I am not cut out for these adventures. However, I will miss this sweet town, a real shangrila. If you get any storms coming in when here, I would definitely head for higher ground after seeing what happened in Florida.
