I just got starlink and initially had it set up on the roof but found that I was getting some obstructions. I since moved it to another spot, actually lower than the roof but with less obstructions and it seems to work really well.

Thinking originally that I would have to rig up a pole on the roof to get the best reception, I ordered the "pole adapter" from Starlink, but now I do not intend to use it. If you, or if you know of anyone who needs to rig up their dish to a pole and needs an adapter, I will sell it to them for a little less than what I bought it for and save on the shipping.
