CHAVA TONIGHT
Maybe it’s not fair to promote someone who needs no promotion, but we hope everyone may join us at 5 p.m. today to enjoy Chava and his magical electric guitar. From Carlos Santana, Mexican ballads, plenty of Classic Rock and even some 80s tunes, Chava will rock the house. If you show up and can’t find a seat, please look for Mateo and he will help out. If you show up late and are sad you don’t have the “best” seat, please show up earlier the next time.

FEB. 8 BIRTHDAY BASH FOR MATEO
The seafood buffet was a big hit last week. Menu: Three kinds of ceviche, three types of shrimp, salad, rice and zarandeado–fish from the grill! And guacamole. All for only 300 pesos. Romantic ballads with Eduardo from 5-7. Seafood buffet from 6-7. Please understand the only other menu items available Wednesday will be guacamole and nachos. Seating preferences will be given to those making a reservation to order a seafood buffet. Come party with the only Gen-X Southerner in La Manzanilla. Will and Leia are millennials, right?

When our friends can’t make it, we try our best to look for more friends to play. LA MANZANILLA HISTORY, 2020-2023

This will be debated for generations, but if you consider the butterfly effect, our entire universe changed dramatically with the installation of the first Oxxo in La Mananilla a few years ago. While some folks claim Covid was manufactured in a lab and others say the virus arrived through the course of nature, most seem to agree it originated in China.

Yet has anyone connected the dots with Bill Gates and the Four Seasons to the La Manzanilla Oxxo and the subsequent onslaught of Covid? And is it coincidence neither the LSU Tigers of American college football nor the New Orleans Saints of the NFL has won any game of significance since covid? Finally, though no one has made any official link, the flooding in La Manzanilla on Aug. 27, 2020, and Aug. 27, 2021, should also be blamed on
