Does anyone have suggestions? They are really a plague this year. Please post suggestions of types of plants to grow that leaf cutters don't eat.

Of course, we know about the insecticides that are available. Are there also other strategies (IE, does a band of grease on the tree trunk deter them from climbing it?) Or what else might work?
