…tossing garden greens as in cut debris and palm fronds, into the arroyo is not a good idea for several reasons….

…it is illegal
…it all goes into the bay when the river runs
…and when the banks are covered the iguanas do not have a nesting spot for their eggs

So if you can get the containers for 50 pesos from the garbage men, please do so..you may be on a wait list but it sure does help the environment and local flora and fauna!
