For us to support our young soccer players, 16 - 18 year olds, so that they continue playing and are not lured by the call of the street.

Soccer coach Agape's team of 20 have been invited to play in a Division 4 level league with 6 other pueblos. Participation at this level prepares 16 - 18 year olds to advance to semi-professional status.

Coach Agape sees the need to keep this age group engaged in their sport. Opportunities to play and compete in organized leagues don't exist for them as when they were younger.

Agape also thinks that when other kids witness this caliber of play, they will be attracted to want to join and aspire to also become experienced and skilled players.

Our team needs to buy 5 professional soccer balls at 380 pesos each. The league will kick in five more so they can practice and compete. Also, 20 uniforms at 280 each will cost 5,600 pesos. (Why do balls cost more than uniforms?)
