I am the fortunate winner of the School Garden raffle which was for dinner for 2 at the lovely new restaurant, Casa Mascala. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening there last night in the beautifully appointed setting with the pleasant, attentive staff.The menu has many wonderful dishes to offer. We requested a vegetarian meal and were delighted with the dishes the capable chef served us. Our Appy " Corn Ribs" served on yummy mashed potatoes was amazing and hopefully will be added to the menu.This was followed by " Roast Cauliflower" and a delicious salad, and rounded off with a luscious dessert - passion fruit compote and dark chocolate served in a martini glass. All excellent!
We were very impressed with this new, upscale restaurant and wish them success. We'll certainly be back! We also want to thank them for their generous donation to the very worthwhile
