It is called Fascia Release and I teach this class at Casa Luz on Saturdays from 9-10:30am. We treat our necks, back, hips, legs, shoulders etc.
The basic principle is to shorten the constricted area by contracting it and maintaining the contraction, while you take the muscle area in the opposite direction with a hand /leg/other body motion.
You can do it anywhere, at anytime, without the need for other tools besides your body, which is always with you
