He's a warm hearted person who'll love you 'til the end. 🎶
Jack was a very endearing man with a smile on his face and sparkle in his eyes, who welcomed everyone to his table… his coffee table at Cafe Del Mar every morning at 10 am. That’s where Sue Parry introduce us and we were instant buddies. I don’t even drink coffee but I just enjoyed being with him and listening to his stories about his life. He loved to visit with his old friends and meet new friends everyday but Sunday. He would introduce people and solve all the worlds problems in his 1 hour time frame to drink his coffee before he would climb onto his yellow chariot (quad), and head home to do his chores. You could find him back at CDM for Hot chocolate or Bahia Azul for a beer at 7 pm. At 8 pm he would head home to spoil his beloved Fido with ice cream and whipped cream on top.
He was one of the Happiest humans I have ever met. Once when he gave Jeff and I a tour of his home. I said “Wow Jack your bedroom is painted bright blue Wow” Jack said” Blue is the happy color, every morning when I open my eyes I’m happy to be alive. I loved his attitude He and I had dinner on the 21st the night before I came home. I’m so thankful for our time in La Manzanilla together . His parting words “ I love you sweetie, I’ll be waiting for you” in his sweet dutch accent & a kiss on the cheek.
He was so blessed to have Lalo & Selena his mexican family that took such wonderful care of him.
I will miss him dearly. 🌺
