While I wish you best wishes for successfully choosing the correct date in Daniel's Guess the Rain contest, I think I should alert you to the following:

An anonymous person in the pueblo is circulating a new contest inviting participants to guess the date that the new bridge to the Crocodile Bar and Cabanas will be washed away by this summer's storms.

I find the new contest vile, cynical and highly insensitive to the feelings of an upstanding member of our community.

(I picked August 22nd...).
