The bird bath gets cleaned and filled every Monday. The sparrows will only go in when the water is low (end of the week).

That is actually the first time I have seen a dove bathe, it looked like it was just mimicking the sparrows.

When the bird bath is full the black birds go at it big time, they throw water everywhere!

If you want to attract birds, turn the water faucet over and put it on a very slow drip, with a bucket under it for the dogs and other animals to drink out of. The Sparrows love this thing! And the beach dogs always have a source of water.
