Peluditos and more specifically Second Chance Animal Refuge (SCAR) need your help!

It’s time to upgrade our facilities at SCAR to increase shaded areas and secure fencing. To do this we will be increasing the number of dog runs and creating shade with palapa and planting trees!

We need to raise 50,000 pesos to cover the cost of building 3 more quarantine/puppy pens (putting the total at 6), and divide the larger corral into 5 individual runs. This includes posts, 3 new cement pads, fencing (1.2 m x 20 m $1452/roll), gates ( $350/gate plus cost of materials), 20,000 pesos to build a palapa structure, and labor costs.

For every individual donation of 2,500 pesos (145 US or 195 CA) a rock will be painted with your name (or with a name of your choice) and will be added to the gardens at SCAR honor and celebrate your generosity. It’s donors like you who make Peluditos and SCAR pawsible in La Manzanilla.
