How close was the lightening to you? I think I remember one being close to your house.

Here there was one in particular that seemed very close, you can tell partly because it might knock you on your ass but mostly because you hear the thunder going away from you, not toward you.

I was sitting under the Palapa of Gaviotas (next door), so lucky to have that spot to continue the evening ritual, and its a great vantage point for being in direct contact with all that is going on.
