For only 2500 pesos, er, really 190 pesos, you can enjoy shrimp and grits catered by Mateo and Belen. Actually, Mateo simply purchased the grits in Louisiana, but Belen will cook this wonderful dish. Come by today, Monday, Aug. 14, 2023, and we guarantee to have this wonderful dish. Like our friend Joe Pesci says, "No self-respecting Southerner would eat instant grits."

Crocodile Bar and Cabanas offers full-kitchen and bar service from Monday-Saturday, 12 p.m.-7:30 p.m. this week. Next week, we'll publish new details, but this is the final week you may enjoy daily service. Come on down!

If you're one of three people who doesn't read the message board between the hours of 4 a.m. and 7 a.m., invite your friends for shrimp and grits. Have them invite friends as well. It will be a little like Scamway, but not as bad. The movie title escapes me, but a character portrayed by Richad Pryor was asked, "Isn't this some kind of pyramid scheme?" to which he replied, "It's not a pyramid, it's a trapezoid." In other words, anyone who leads a group of five people to Crocodile Bar and Cabanas before Saturday gets a free margarita.
