Many of you know the artist/musician Doug Rawn. He has been coming to La Manzanilla for many, many years and often performed around town.

This past week there was a devastating fire in the Shushwap Lake area of British Columbia. Doug has lost his home, studio and guest house along with many other people in his community of Lee Creek. His daughter Akiko has created a Go Fund Me page to assist with recovery and rebuilding. He and his wife Naomi lost everything and are basically wiped out.
