I was born and raised en la manzanilla many years ago.
I got many memories about La Manzanilla daily life back when there no electricity or roads.
There was a "Camino Real" to La Huerta and another one to San Patricio, things might be different today.
But if you look in right places you can see that the magic still there, under the boulders of las Joyas or under the salty rocks in la morronquera, or the mule loads of gold, buried under the Hacienda grounds .
La Manzanilla was named after a poisonous little wild yellow apple that grows at the edge of la playa beautifully and untouchable.
