Ann and I started coming down here about 17 years ago. The first person we met was Bob Kinsey and the 2nd was Daniel. He was a good friend and neighbor and I was sad when I looked down last evening and he was not sitting in his usual spot on the beach. I did get to say "goodby" to him this morning.

Some of you might know that his two goats escaped their pen last year and took up residence halfway up the side of the quarry behind the school on the main road. As I walked by, there they were, and I chose to think that D was inhabiting the body of one of them and is keeping an eye on LM. I gave him a big salute.

If I was more tech savy, I would have taken a picture and added it to this post. Maybe the LM Duty Photographer, David D will go by there and take a nice picture with his telephoto lense. If you see them or his picture and want to engage in my nonsense, pick the one on the right or the other one to bid D a bon voyage.
