Hola community. I have a master's degree in spiritual psychology and over 20 years of experience as a spiritual counselor, and I am a journey facilitator as well. Below is a counseling and journey client's experience in her own words. Last January, I came to La Manzanilla and gave a presentation at Casa Luz and saw clients. I will be doing the same this year.

“I have been a client of Dayna’s for approximately 8 months. During this time, I gained trust and confidence in her counseling services. Trust became immensely important to me as we broached the topic of incorporating a sacred journey into my range of services. I was initially hesitant because I had never experienced this before.

I suppressed many memories and resulting emotions from my childhood and was fearful that I might lose control of myself. Dayna met me where I was at in my fear-based beliefs and allowed me to talk through my hesitations without being judged. She provided me with educational videos , walked me through the process, and helped me set my intentions for the journey.

Dayna arrived early on the day of my journey and stayed with me all day long. She continuously cleared the energy in the room, as well as made sure I was comfortable, well hydrated, and safe. She maintained a log of my statements and made physical contact with me through gently massaging my shoulders and back when I needed it.

The journey was profound and provided me with a clarity that I consider equivalent to 10-15 counseling sessions. I was able to “experience” an understanding that under normal counseling sessions would only be discussed. My newly found understanding has shifted how I see and relate to people who normally trigger me.

As a result, I no longer take things personally and our relationships have become more open and loving.
The next day was dedicated to integrating my experience. We spent a full day at an outdoor thermal spring spa where we reviewed and discussed her notes, I rested, and ate a healthy meal. It was a phenomenal experience which I plan on repeating in 6 months.” Rosalinda C.
