Buenos Dias everyone
I would like to inform you that a long time resident of La Manzanilla
passed away yesterday at 5am, Most people knew her as CAROL MORNINGSTAR ( Carol Pitts was her legal name) She unfortunately had serious health problems and also some mental health issues which caused her to be known as quite a character.
She was a talented artist but did not really put herself out to the public much. She had few friends and died basically destitute and has no family either which is very sad. A few of us are contributing to help cover her few debts for groceries and the cost of her cremation. If anyone feels moved to donate to this cause would you please contact Mike Barbie( directly in front of Casa Luz) to help out. It will be much appreciated. Mike has been a real friend to Carol and helped her a lot through hard times.
