We are returning to La Manzanilla in February, after having been gone for many years. We stayed with Irene a couple times and later at a hotel and a house on the beach. We are excited to come back.
I saw this comment on a post from November and was wondering if conditions are better.
“ The beach in La Manzanilla is covered with a huge amount of gravel and rocks, all the way to the pantheon - a result of the storm surge of Hurricane Lidia. It’s the largest amount of rocks that we have seen in the 17 years we’ve been here.
When entering the water - at least at our house, just past Quinta Valentina - there is a big drop-off a few metres in. Take care, you can go for a tumble.”
We will be staying at “Casa Palmas frente al Mar”
Does anyone know what the beach conditions are near there?
We just want to be prepared.
Thank you so much.
