La Manzanilla used to be full of misfits, the crazy ones. Scotty, Scary Jerry, Tres Metros, Jorge, Raffa (still here) The Indian, Dos Metros, Roddy (still here), Lou, Hill (still here) Bobby, too many to list, truly crazy f##ks. Its changing now, more "civilized". I remember those special people, the rule breakers, accepted and appreciated, loved, or something like that.
So many photos I don't have, so many people I didn't mention. Hanging out with Dave on the beach tonight was the catalyst for this post. Just what do you do with these people who are so consistently themselves, selves that are so ......unique? I guess you just appreciate that they are who they are, and that they add depth to the whole thing we call life, and that they are in it.
Wow. That brings back some memories! And brings up so many more, as you say, Daniel. Lots of good people, missed but not forgotten. Scotty! Remember the Dr that was friends with Rusty and he put a plastic human arm in the lagoon where the caimans are? Great picture of Stephen R. Y los Notoriosos!en un tiempo que existen nada mas Saludos a David
Thank you so much Daniel...That is a wonderful walk down memory lane...for some that are gone, you’ll always be such a vivid memory....and for those who are still here??? What can I say...we’re getting old... Life is GOOD
On the lamanzanilla.com website there are some, I haven't updated that site in years but it may suit your request. One of these days I will update it (I have a ton of photos) but I keep getting more entranced by the 5 minutes that is happening now. The dopamine, its all about the dopamine.
