#MY HEART IS HEAVY WITH CONCERN FOR ALL THE RESIDENTS OF LAMANZANILLA. CDC says The virus is a .01 micron tennis ball shape with little suction cups all around it. The virus grows in the throat and nose. One "catches" the virus from air droplets or contact on surfaces. The virus lasts in the sun for up to 9 days on door handles, railings etc. This is why we are asked to stay inside. |
#After 5 days a dry cough starts. later a wet cough. After a week or so, you may get better. If not, the disease spreads through the immune system, causing inflammation, ending up in the lungs. The air sacks in the lungs become full of liquid, making it impossible to breathe without a ventilator. Eventually the organs start to fail from lack of oxygen and you die.
#You may have survived, but how would you feel if you gave it to your Grama or aging aunt or anyone else in high risk: diabetes, heart, lung, or over the age of 70. And they died a painful death.
The tour buses are coming from high risk areas and could bring in just one unknown carrier of the disease, risking the spread of the virus thru town like wildfire.
#This is why I am asking for a virtual petition to give to the President of LaHuerta.
PLEASE STOP THE TOUR BUSES FROM COMING IN TO LAMANZANILLA UNTIL THE PANDEMIC IS CLEAR.
#No one will actually STARVE in our town. You´ve been through rehabilitation after the quake in ¨95 and most recently after Patricia. Please talk to your mexican friends. I´ll try to translate on to FB. We can pull together and NO ONE will ever go hungry. Inconvenient yes, dead, no! There is no cure and we don´t have ventilators. It is difficult to get to doctors. Please, take this seriously.
#Let me know by messenger, whats app, messages, or email that you want to sign the petition. email@example.com 315 113 9715. Wash your hands often for 20 sec and don´t touch your eyes, nose or mouth. You never know who has the virus.
