NO MORE FMM DOCUMENTS -
•Those of you that have been discussing the Regularization Program with Expired FMM, you need to be aware of the changes that started already.
How those changes will affect the Regularization program WITHIN Mexico? We won’t know for at least a few months.
Does this mean the program is coming to end? Does it mean that INM will consider the passport stamp the last-and final say*? Does it mean every passport stamp will be for 180 days? Or will that vary as well?
ONLY TIME WILL TELL.
Stay in contact with the INM office and professionals in the area you will process. There will be a slow transition that is guaranteed to affect everybody differently with its interpretation.

"FMM's being Eliminated - update
Please note, the FMM cards are being eliminated starting July 28, 2022. When a person enters Mexico, you will not be issued a FMM. You will have a stamp in your passport and in that stamp will be written the number of days you may be in Mexico.
Similarly, when a person has a pre-approved visa from a Mexican consulate, in their passport, a FMM will not be issued and a date will be stamped on the pre-approved visa. As well, it will be written CANJE 30 days.
When a TR or PR resident leaves Mexico your passport is stamped with date and written is your visa status and SALIDA. And when entering Mexico, stamped with date, visa status and the word ENTRADA."
