Yoga at Casa Luz, Sunday January 29th *Restore & Balance* Posted by Sherene K on January 24, 2023, 9:26 am Please join me Sunday, January 29th, 11 - 1, under the airy rooftop palapa at Casa Luz for a Restore & Balance yoga practice. As we take time to slow down and connect to body, mind and breath, we rest in the parasympathetic nervous system where our bodies are given the opportunity to rest, digest and rebalance. Restorative Yoga is suitable for all levels. Poses are fully supported using blankets, bolsters and props and are held for 5 - 10+ minutes. As the body relaxes, so does the mind, allowing tension to release and the nervous system to balance. Restorative Yoga can help improve the flexibility and mobility of joints and tissues. Many props are required in restorative yoga, to ensure support & comfort, so this class will be limited to 12. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
