Seeking more donations for Laura! Posted by Stephanie on February 17, 2023, 2:42 pm A local younger woman living alone with her daughter is in need of eye surgery which can help her regain her vision! The surgery costs 30,000 pesos or $1,500 US! She has accumulated some money but is short the total amount and could use some additional help! The bookstore has donated 2,000 pesos towards her surgery! If you can help donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated! We have put a jar out in the bookstore for any amount you can spare! Our hours are 10-1 Monday thru Saturday…and thank you so much for your consideration!

Sorry for any confusion….at last conversation, yesterday, think her friends had collected nearly 10,000 pesos…plus the 2,000 the bookstore donated, short about 18,000 at this time! Hoping to come close to that amount for her next Drs appointment a week from today! Thanks for your interest!
