Saturday March 4, as it says on the poster, and there is a horse parade starting at 5 pm in the jardin

I was stopped on the street today and asked to post more details about Saturday’s Rodeo.
It’s a fundraiser for the La Manzanilla elementary school, to do things like fix the bathrooms, paint the classrooms, buy computer printers, fix the fence around the school etc. The government says it will match all the funds raised by the town.
The cabalgata, or horse parade will start in the jardín at 5 pm on Saturday. One of the features will be a parade of little children with their caballos de palitos, or ‘ broomstick horses’.
The Rodeo takes place at the Plaza de Toros starting at 7 pm with lots of food and drinks available. Admission is 100 pesos in advance and 130 pesos at the door. Donations will be accepted gladly. See you there!
